MIXED FUEL HOBS

For those who enjoy cooking and appreciate both gas and induction cooking, you can now have the best of both worlds. In a single hob, the mixed fuel hob combines an induction zone with traditional gas burners, offering maximum versatility of use.



FAST OPERATION

Induction allows for precise temperature control when doing intricate cooking, or simmering for example. Heat is only generated when the pan comes into direct contact of the specific cooking zone, ensuring safety in the presence of children. This helps optimise power consumption, only using the energy needed to heat the pan itself.



KEY FUNCTIONS

The elegant slider-based control panel allows the user to adjust the heat level by simply running a finger across the touch surface. Various special functions provide exactly the right level of heat for each type of cooking: Melting, Keep Warm, Simmering and Smart Pot Detection.



MULTIZONE OPERATION

Smeg's MultiZone heating zone can be used as two independent cooking zones or combined into a single zone. Each zone automatically adapts to the size and position of the dishes and is heated only where the pans locate, providing better heat distribution. Ceramic glass is able to withstand heat above 800˚C so it is extremely robust and durable. Composed of a single glass plate measuring only 4 to 8mm, this type of glass is resistant to impact and wear.
