When Smeg’s design studio embarked on its newest venture – to create the world’s most energy-efficient rangehood, Portofino epitomised the pinnacle of Italian opulence and so the new collection was named. It was fortuitous because Portofino also inspired the unique colours of the collection, taking their hues from the olive, terracotta, lemon and coral colours of the buildings lining the shores of Portofino, joyously contrasting with the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean.

PORTOFINO AESTHETIC

Colored and with rigorous lines, the hood of the Portofino aesthetic line is designed to give character to the environment. Clean lines and materials of the highest quality go perfectly with various types of environments and furnishing styles. Taking their hues from the olive, terracotta, lemon and coral colours of the buildings lining the Portofino shore, the collection comes in eight beautiful colours including sunshine yellow, olive green, coral red and burnt orange.

LED LIGHTING & 4 FAN SPEEDS

Two bright, long-lasting and energy efficient LED lights clearly illuminate the cooktop below, providing maximum visibility in the kitchen no matter what type of cooking you are doing. Engineered for premium performance, Smeg’s Portofino rangehood features 3 speed settings along with an intensive function for maximum extraction, clearing the kitchen quickly of smoke and odours. Smeg stainless steel honeycomb filters with stainless steel latch can also be washed in the dishwasher for ultimate convenience.

POWERFUL AIR EXTRACTION

Smeg’s rangehoods have been developed to optimise performance for all cooking styles and kitchen designs. We recommend using 150 mm duct pipe for peak performance. In installations where ducting to the outside is not possible, a recirculation kit is available as an optional extra.
