Why Buy?
A dedicated sommelier drawer for handleless kitchen design
Fitted beneath Smeg's Dolce Stil Novo 60cm and compact ovens, this 15cm drawer uses a push-to-open mechanism rather than a handle, so it sits flush with the rest of a handleless run. Australians who buy online looking for considered wine storage will find this drawer built for ceremony, not just cellaring.
Open it and a Slavonia durmast oak insert holds a full sommelier kit — corkscrew, wine pump, thermometer with slipcase, funnel and a set of specialised corks for still and sparkling bottles — each tool set into its own cavity. A removable silicone anti-slip mat keeps glassware and tools steady as the drawer moves, and steel construction supports up to 85kg of loaded weight, so it stays solid under bottles and equipment day to day.
In a kitchen built around clean lines, this drawer keeps wine service organised and out of sight until needed. The matte black finish matches Dolce Stil Novo's copper or steel detailing, and the concealed storage means no clutter of openers, pourers or thermometers left on the benchtop. It is a small, deliberate addition for anyone serving wine as part of the daily or weekend routine, available to order for delivery across Australia.
Buy this if…
- You want a handleless drawer that sits beneath your Dolce Stil Novo oven
- You serve wine regularly and want proper tools within reach
- You prefer tools stored out of sight rather than left on the bench
- You need a drawer rated to carry the weight of bottles and equipment
- You are matching a matte black, handleless kitchen scheme
