Product Overview
SMEG SAM34CXI | 34L Inverter Convection Microwave with Grill Stainless Steel
Microwave ovens are the most efficient appliance for cooking or reheating small meals. Several studies have shown that if properly used, microwave cooking does not change the nutrient content of foods to a larger extent than conventional heating, and that there is a tendency towards greater retention of many micronutrients with microwaving, due to the shorter cooking time. A microwave oven converts only part of its electrical input into microwave energy.
MICROWAVE COOKING
5 power levels (maximum 100% plus 4 lower levels). The microwave will automatically operate on 100% power of cooking time selected without power level.
AUTO COOK FUNCTIONS
There are 10 convenient auto cook functions for pre programmed easy settings for your meals.
INVERTER TECHNOLOGY
With inverter technology, the power level selected is the power level achieved. This level of control results in more even cooking and reheating and defrosting without cooked edges.
CHILD SAFTEY LOCK
Electronically the control can be shut down to prevent careless access to any functions particularly by children.

Why Buy?
Precise microwave cooking with inverter control
Smeg's inverter technology delivers constant power at your selected level, eliminating the pulsing action of conventional microwaves. This consistent energy flow means even reheating without hot spots or overcooked edges.
The 34-litre cavity handles family portions while ten auto-cook functions remove guesswork from everyday meals. Five power levels provide granular control, from gentle defrosting at 20% through to full-power reheating. The electronic child safety lock secures all functions against accidental operation.
Built for considered kitchens where efficiency matters, this convection microwave fits seamlessly into integrated cabinetry. The inverter system operates more quietly than traditional units, maintaining kitchen calm during meal preparation. Shorter cooking times preserve nutrients better than conventional heating methods.
