Why Buy?
A black steel french door fridge built for daily visibility
This LG 642L Instaview french door refrigerator lets you knock twice on the glass panel to see inside without opening the door, so cold air stays put and produce holds its chill for longer. For anyone comparing a fridge double door layout against this design, the panel alone changes how often the door gets opened during a busy week.
An Inverter Linear Compressor with fewer moving parts runs quietly and evenly, backed by a 10-year parts warranty on the compressor itself. The Craft Ice maker produces slow-melting round ice suited to entertaining, and the UVnano water dispenser uses a UV LED at the nozzle to reduce bacteria by up to 99.99%. Pure N Fresh air filtration works alongside precise temperature control to cut fridge odours and slow spoilage, so less ends up binned between grocery runs.
Finished in black steel with a flat door face and slim pocket handle, this lg black fridge reads as considered rather than bulky against dark cabinetry, and resists fingerprint marks better than standard stainless. At 642 litres across 914mm width and 1792mm height, it suits kitchens where a full-size fridge needs to look intentional, not just fit. LG ThinQ adds remote setting adjustment from a compatible smartphone, useful on the days grocery plans change last minute.
Buy this if…

- You're after a fridge double door option with genuine 642 litre capacity
- Filtered ice and UV-treated water matter for how you entertain
- A black steel finish needs to resist fingerprints against dark cabinetry
- Compressor reliability and a long parts warranty are non-negotiable
