Product Overview
SMEG PX375LAU | 72CM CLASSIC NATURAL GAS COOKTOP STAINLESS STEEL

This 72cm Natural Gas Cooktop is designed with Smeg's Classic aesthetics and stainless steel finish. It features 5 cook zones and Smeg Contemporary alluminium burners with cast iron pan stands. Easily control the heat level of each burner with its 6 front control knobs.
SPACIOUS DESIGN
When space is not restrictive, this spacious 72cm hob offers five burners ergonomically positioned for maximum benefit with the possibility of several styles of cooking at the one time.
ULTRA-RAPID BURNER
This large and versatile burner suits the larger stock pots, boilers, saucepans and griddles.
FLAME FAILURE DEVICE
Safety fitted to all burners, the Flame Failure Device ensures that should a flame be extinguished accidentally, the gas supply to the specific burner is stopped. The burner can only then be reignited by following normal ignition procedure.
ELECTRONIC IGNITION
The cooktop is connected with a power cord of 1.3 metre length to be plugged into a GPO located according to installation needs below the benchline. This supplies a continuous stored charge to spark the gas supply to the individual burner of your choice.

Why Buy?
Cast iron precision meets contemporary gas control
The Smeg PX375LAU delivers five precisely calibrated burners across 72cm of stainless steel workspace, with Contemporary aluminium burners set into cast iron pan stands that distribute heat evenly and hold cookware securely. Electronic ignition provides instant flame control without matches or lighters.
Each burner operates independently through front-mounted controls, letting you simmer delicate sauces while searing proteins on the ultra-rapid burner designed for large stockpots and griddles. Flame failure devices automatically cut gas supply if flames extinguish accidentally, then require deliberate re-ignition for safety. The brushed stainless steel surface resists fingerprints and integrates cleanly with contemporary kitchen finishes.
This cooktop suits kitchens where cooking flexibility matters more than compact footprints. The 72cm width accommodates multiple cooking styles simultaneously while the Classic aesthetic works across traditional and modern designs. Connection requires only a standard GPO beneath the benchtop, making installation straightforward for most kitchen configurations.
