Product Overview
SMEG HOBD182DG | 83CM LINEA INTEGRATED INDUCTION COOKTOP with AutoVent 2.0 NEPTUNE GREY

This induction hob is the most flexible in the range offering the ultimate freedom of movement. Place up to 4 pots and pans on the hob at the same time. Induction is faster than gas cooking taking only a little over a minute to boil a pint of water. It also allows for precise temperature control when doing intricate cooking, or simmering for example.
AUTOMATIC EXTRACTION FUNCTION
The design of the HOBD cooktop is minimalism in its purest form. A unique piece of technology with a powerful integrated extractor fan, capable of instantly removing odours. The automatic extraction function allows the rangehood to automatically change speed in accordance with power level - selecting the most appropriate extraction level for a variety of cooking styles.
ECO LOGIC ADVANCED
Save energy without compromising cooking results with the Eco Logic Advanced limitation system, enabling a minimum power draw of 2.8kW.
FLUSH CAST IRON GRILL
A cast iron grill lies at the centre of the HOBD hob, protecting the powerful integrated extractor fan. With no difference in the height across its surface, the glass ceramic cooktop is completely flush, so pans can be moved across it without encountering any obstacles. A few centimetres under the surface, the extraction motor instantly removes cooking odours and vapours much faster than a traditional hood.
POWER BOOST IN EACH ZONE
Smeg’s HOBD induction cooktop features the power boost function in each zone. Boost provides temporary additional power to zones when an even more intense heat is required and is ideal for heating large quantities of water rapidly.

Why Buy?
Minimalist induction cooking with integrated extraction
The flush cast iron grill at the centre of this 83cm induction cooktop protects a powerful integrated extractor fan that removes cooking odours and vapours directly from the source. This eliminates the need for an overhead rangehood while maintaining a completely flat cooking surface where pans glide without obstruction.
Four flexible induction zones deliver precise temperature control and power boost capability in each zone, bringing water to the boil in just over a minute. The automatic extraction function adjusts fan speed according to cooking intensity, while the Eco Logic Advanced system maintains energy efficiency with a minimum 2.8kW power draw without compromising cooking performance.
The Neptune Grey glass ceramic surface integrates seamlessly into handleless kitchen designs, offering uninterrupted sightlines and simplified cleaning. This downdraft solution suits kitchens where traditional extraction would compromise architectural features or where island installations require discrete ventilation without visual obstruction.
Buy this if…
