Why Buy?
8kg heat pump drying with a condenser that cleans itself
The iQ700 WQ35B2A8AU is an 8kg heat pump dryer built around a self-cleaning condenser, so lint and residue are cleared automatically each cycle instead of building up and slowing performance over months of use. That translates to consistent drying results and steady energy consumption, backed by a 10-star energy rating, without the manual condenser maintenance most heat pump dryers require.
SmartFinish applies a burst of steam at the end of the programme to relax fibres, cutting wrinkles by up to 50 percent and shrinking the ironing pile that follows laundry day. IntelligentDry extends this logic further, with the dryer communicating directly with a compatible Siemens washer to read the load and select an appropriate drying setting rather than leaving the choice to guesswork. A dedicated outdoor programme dries waterproof jackets and technical fabrics without compromising their membranes.
Measuring 598mm wide and 613mm deep, it sits comfortably in a standard laundry footprint alongside a matching washer. Remote control via a mobile device lets programmes be started, monitored or adjusted without standing over the machine, so drying fits around the rest of the day. Paired with a compatible Siemens washer, the two appliances work as a considered set rather than separate purchases.
Buy this if…
- You want a dryer that clears its own condenser rather than one you maintain by hand
- You already own or plan to buy a compatible Siemens washer for intelligentDry
- You regularly dry outdoor or waterproof gear and need a dedicated safe programme
- You want fewer creases out of the dryer to cut down on ironing
- You prefer checking or adjusting laundry cycles remotely from a phone
