Product Overview
90cm Portofino Canopy Rangehood
Designed to complement the Portofino cooker, the canopy hood combines considered Italian design with intelligent ventilation technology. At its core, SMEG’s V-Condense System captures excess steam and condensation, helping reduce unwanted drips onto the cooktop and keep the cooking area cleaner. Autovent 2.0 adds greater convenience by automatically synchronising the hood with a compatible induction cooktop and adjusting extraction as cooking power changes. A glass touch display provides intuitive control when needed, then disappears from view when not in use for a clean, minimalist finish. Available in Portofino’s new colour palette, the canopy hood brings together intelligent functionality and 75 years of Italian design.
V-Condense System
V-Condense System captures excess steam and condensation generated by cooking, helping reduce the build-up of condensation within the hood and unwanted drips onto the cooktop. The result is a cleaner cooking area with less condensation to manage.
Autovent 2.0
Autovent 2.0 uses Bluetooth connectivity to synchronise your induction hob and hood, automatically adjusting the extraction level as cooking power changes. With the hood responding to your cooking without the need for manual adjustment, managing steam and cooking odours becomes one less thing to think about.
Quieter operation
A brushless motor combines powerful extraction with quieter operation from as low as 43dBA, efficiently clearing steam, smoke and cooking odours with less noise in the kitchen. So conversation and everyday life can continue with less disruption while the hood is running.
Dishwasher safe baffle filter
The dishwasher-safe baffle filter makes cleaning and maintaining the hood simple, allowing grease and residue to be easily removed so the hood can continue to perform at its best over time.
Backlit touch control
The glass touch display disappears when the hood is not in use, creating a clean, minimalist look while providing intuitive touch control when you need it.

Why Buy?
Considered extraction for a Portofino-matched kitchen
Built to pair with Smeg's Portofino cooker, this 90cm canopy rangehood uses a V-Condense System to capture steam and condensation before it settles as drips on the cooktop, keeping the cooking zone drier and easier to wipe down. A brushless motor delivers strong extraction while running as quietly as 43dBA, clearing smoke and odours without dominating conversation in an open kitchen.
Autovent 2.0 syncs the hood with a compatible induction cooktop via Bluetooth, automatically lifting or easing extraction as cooking power changes, so there is no reaching for buttons mid-service. The baffle filter is dishwasher safe, making grease removal straightforward rather than a scrub-and-soak chore, and the glass touch display responds instantly when manual control over speed or timer functions is needed.
When idle, that same touch display recedes into the stainless steel canopy, leaving a clean, uninterrupted surface rather than a panel of icons on permanent display. Finished in Smeg's stainless steel Portofino palette, it reads as considered hardware rather than an afterthought bolted above the cooktop, suited to kitchens where the extraction system is expected to look as resolved as the cabinetry around it.
