Frequently Asked Questions

How do the flexible cooking zones work on this induction cooktop?

This area induction cooktop allows you to place up to six pots and pans anywhere on its surface without fixed zone limitations. Automatic pot detection senses cookware position, and the 'Follow Pot' function maintains settings if you move a pot. This provides maximum flexibility for larger or irregularly shaped cookware.

What are the power requirements for installing this cooktop?

This induction cooktop requires a dedicated electrical connection with a voltage of 220-240V and a total amperage of 49A. This ensures it has sufficient power to operate all six cooking zones effectively. The cutout dimensions are 916mm wide by 500mm deep.

How do I clean the ceramic glass surface of this cooktop?

Cleaning the ceramic glass surface of this induction cooktop is straightforward; simply wipe spills with a soft cloth after use, once the surface has cooled. For tougher, dried-on stains, a specialised ceramic cooktop cleaner is recommended. The smooth, non-porous surface prevents food from baking onto hot elements, making cleanup quick.

Is this induction cooktop energy efficient?

Yes, this induction cooktop includes the Eco Logic Advance feature, which allows for a minimum 2.4kW power draw for energy efficiency without compromising performance. Induction technology itself is inherently more efficient than traditional electric or gas cooktops because it directly heats the cookware. You can find other induction cooktops that offer similar energy-saving benefits.

How many pots can I use simultaneously on this cooktop?

You can use up to six pots simultaneously on this cooktop due to its large 93cm area induction design. The flexible surface allows for various sizes and shapes of cookware to be used at the same time. The intuitive 7-inch full colour TFT touchscreen displays the position, size, and shape of each detected pot.
