Save time without compromising on performance
Enjoy fast results with the QuickPowerWash programme. Our PowerWash technology offers impressive cleaning results, evenly distributing detergent and water to ensure everything is fully cleaned. The QuickPowerWash programme achieves all this in just 49 minutes.1
No need to feel guilty
Never feel bad again if you quickly want to wash one or two items to wear for a special occasion, or simply because you feel like it. Our SingleWash Extra is designed specifically for that task. It shortens the running time, and reduces water and energy consumption.
Tailored to your load items
All Miele washing machines feature an Auto load control, an intelligent feature that carefully analyses your current laundry in the drum and uses precisely the right amount of water and electricity needed. Equally impressive, it does all this while still achieving the excellent cleaning results you’ve come to expect from us.
1 This applies equally to all Miele washing machines, which are able to replicate the process and technical machine parameters laid out in the conclusion of the WL 1110/18 test report.

Why Buy?
9kg washing tailored to every load, not just the biggest one
The WWI861 pairs a 9kg drum with Miele's PowerWash technology, distributing detergent and water evenly through the load so a full QuickPowerWash cycle finishes in around 49 minutes without cutting corners on cleaning. Automatic dosing (TDos) means you are not guessing detergent quantities each wash.
Auto load control reads the size of each load and adjusts water and energy use accordingly, so a half-full drum of gym kit does not consume the same resources as a full family wash. For the odd occasion piece you need in a hurry, SingleWash Extra runs a shorter, lighter cycle that still gets the job done without the wait or the water bill of a standard programme. At 1600rpm, spin performance leaves less residual moisture, which shortens drying time whatever method you use afterwards.
Finished in white with Miele's characteristic restrained control panel, it sits comfortably in a laundry designed around function rather than display. Daily use is where it earns its keep — fewer wasted cycles, less detergent guesswork, and a machine built to run to Miele's own longevity testing standards over years of regular washing.
Buy this if…
- You wash frequently and want a genuinely quick full-cycle option
- You want dosing handled automatically rather than measured by eye
- Your loads vary in size and you do not want to overuse water or power
- You need a fast, gentle cycle for single items before an event
- You are fitting out a laundry that favours quiet, considered design over flashy finishes
