Why Buy?
A pull-out mixer tap built for real kitchen work
The Franke Active J tap pairs a 180-degree swivel spout with a pull-out dual-jet spray head, so you can reach every corner of a wide sink without repositioning pots or trays. Finished in matte black, it reads as a considered detail against stone benchtops rather than a bright chrome accent.
Switch between a focused stream for scrubbing baked-on residue and a wider spray for rinsing produce or filling large stockpots, all from the one head. At 5-star WELS rating and 5.5 litres per minute, it holds water use in check without leaving you waiting on a weak dribble to fill a kettle. The matte black surface is finished to resist fingerprints and water spotting, so it keeps its look through daily washing-up rather than showing every splash.
Standing 388mm tall with a 241mm reach and a single 35mm cut-out, it suits both new benchtop installs and retrofit swaps on existing sinks. The slim profile and handleless-friendly lever sit comfortably in minimalist kitchens, while 5 years parts and labour warranty backs it for the long haul as a Franke mixer tap built to work daily, not just look the part.
Buy this if…

- Your kitchen runs a matte black hardware scheme you want to extend to the tap
- You need both a fine rinse and a stronger jet for everyday prep and cleanup
- You are after a water-efficient fixture with a 5-star WELS rating
- You want a straightforward single-hole retrofit for an existing benchtop
