Blanco FWD Air Switch Cap - Chrome, 526771

Specifications

  • The Blanco FWD Air Switch Cap in chrome (526771) provides a functional and aesthetic finish for waste disposal units requiring an air switch. This component integrates seamlessly into contemporary kitchen designs, offering reliable operation for your sink area. Crafted for durability and consistent performance, it complements existing chrome fixtures with a polished, reflective surface. It is a considered addition for households seeking cohesive design elements in their kitchen utility spaces.

Why Buy?

A chrome cap that keeps your air switch looking intentional

The Blanco FWD Air Switch Cap is a chrome replacement cap for the benchtop button that operates an air-switch waste disposer, letting you buy online in Australia the exact part rather than a full switch assembly when the original has cracked or faded.

Because the button only needs to withstand daily hand contact and splashes near the sink, the chrome plating matters more for appearance than function, and it holds up to that daily contact without the dulling or fingerprint marking that plain plastic caps show within months. The cap fits the existing FWD air switch body, so installation is a straightforward swap rather than a rewire or replumb.

In a kitchen where the mixer tap, waste outlet and sink accessories have been chosen in chrome, a mismatched black or white button is the kind of detail that stands out at bench height. Fitting this cap keeps that sightline consistent, and it is a sensible fix at the tail end of a renovation or whenever a tap upgrade leaves the old air switch button looking out of place.

Buy this if…

  • Your Blanco air switch cap has cracked, faded or discoloured
  • You have upgraded to chrome tapware and want the switch cap to match
  • You are finishing off a kitchen renovation and checking hardware consistency
  • You run a Blanco food waste disposer with an air-operated switch
  • You want an exact-fit replacement part rather than a new switch assembly
