Why Buy?

A finishing detail that matches your tapware, not just your sink

The Blanco FWD Air Switch Cap in Satin Gold is the small component that finishes a waste disposal or waste king air switch installation with the same tone as your tapware, rather than a generic chrome or white button breaking up the benchtop line.

Satin Gold finishes on Blanco accessories are built to handle daily contact with wet hands and cleaning agents without dulling or patchiness, so the cap keeps its warm, brushed tone alongside a matching mixer or sink for years rather than fading to a mismatched patch within months. Because it is a direct-fit replacement or upgrade cap, it installs onto the existing air switch button without rewiring or plumbing work.

For a considered kitchen where tapware, sink and accessories are chosen as a set, this is the detail that stops a functional fitting from looking like an afterthought. It suits handleless or minimalist benchtop designs where every visible fixture is expected to carry a coordinated finish, and it is a straightforward upgrade when renovating around existing Blanco Satin Gold tapware or a sink already fitted with an air switch waste disposal unit.

Buy this if…

  • You already have Blanco Satin Gold tapware or a sink and want the air switch cap to match
  • You are replacing a worn or discoloured chrome cap on an existing air-operated waste disposal switch
  • You are finishing a kitchen renovation and want every visible fitting on the same finish palette
  • You want a component that fits your current air switch without new wiring or plumbing
  • You notice small hardware details and want them considered, not generic
