Why Buy?
A pull-out Franke tap with a knurled grip and anthracite PVD finish
The Franke Mythos Masterpiece pairs a pull-out spray head with a physical vapour deposition anthracite finish, giving a Franke kitchen mixer tap with pull-out spray that resists scratching and water marking far better than plated stainless steel. At 466mm tall with side lever control, it sits comfortably over deep sinks without dominating the benchtop.
The pull-out hose extends reach across large basins, so filling stockpots or rinsing trays either side of the bowl does not mean repositioning cookware. A 360-degree swivel spout covers the full width of the sink, and the Neopearl laminar aerator delivers a clear, splash-free stream rather than an aerated spray that scatters. WELS 5-star performance at 5.5 litres per minute keeps flow strong while managing water use. The knurled pattern running along the body is not just visual texture — it gives a secure hold when hands are wet or soapy.
Part of the wider Mythos Masterpiece range, this tap is built to sit alongside its matching sink for a considered, coordinated finish rather than a mismatched retrofit. A 35mm cut-out suits standard benchtop preparation, and Franke backs the tap with 5 years parts and labour cover, plus 15 years on the cartridge alone.
