Why Buy?
Quiet, high-capacity extraction for open-plan island kitchens
The Falmec Plane NRS PLUS is a 90cm island rangehood built around NRS (Noise Reduction System) technology, which lets you run strong extraction without the drone that usually comes with island canopies. For anyone comparing a rangehood for a kitchen that opens onto living space, that noise control is the point of difference.
Perimeter suction pulls cooking vapours in from the edges of the canopy, where steam and smoke naturally travel, rather than relying on a single central intake. This gives more even capture across the full 900mm width, so odours and grease are drawn away before they drift into the room. Dimmable LED lighting adjusts from broad ambient light to focused task lighting over the cooktop, and electronic controls respond immediately, so you are not hunting through settings mid-cook.
Finished in stainless steel and sized at 900mm wide, 1230mm in height range and 550mm deep, this canopy rangehood is built for island installations where it is visible from every angle. The clean, minimal profile suits handleless, open-plan kitchens, and the quiet running means it will not compete with conversation while dinner is on.
Buy this if…
- You are installing a rangehood over an island bench in an open-plan kitchen
- You want strong extraction that will not intrude on conversation nearby
- You cook often and need consistent perimeter suction rather than a single central vent
- You prefer dimmable LED lighting you can adjust to the task at hand
- You want a 90cm stainless steel canopy that looks considered from every side
