Product Overview
LG 436L Bottom Mount 0 CLEAR HINGE - Stainless, GB-B400PS
Fit&Max™. A new era of refrigeration.
Key Features:
Less gap, more fridge
Designed to help your fridge sit nearly flush with your kitchen cabinetry, LG Zero Clearance Hinges allow the doors to open wide even in tight spaces and when placed flush next to your walls. Combined with slimmer doors and front-bottom ventilation that flows air through the front, this space-saving design helps reduce gaps around your fridge, maximise your kitchen cavity space and give you more flexibility when choosing the right fridge for your next home.1
Smart control, smart life
With a compatible smartphone and LG ThinQ® app you can remotely adjust your fridge settings, monitor usage and torubleshoot for issues so you're ready to accommodate the latest grocery run.2
Stay fresh with smart door alerts
Through the LG ThinQ® app, you can receive a notification if the fridge door is left open or not fully closed, helping you act sooner to keep cold air inside and support everyday food freshness.
Fast cooling for stored door items
Help care for the items you store in the fridge door. LG Door Cooling+™ directs cold air from front air vents toward the door area, helping support consistent cooling for essentials like dairy, drinks and condiments.3
1 For optimal performance, LG recommends 4 mm clearance between the sides of the refrigerator and the wall.
2 LG ThinQ® app available on compatible Android or iOS smartphones. Phone and Home Wi-Fi Data connection and product registration with LG ThinQ® required. Visit LG ThinQ : The new way of living - Support & Help | LG Australia for features, system compatibility and service availability which may vary by country and model.
3 Door cooling starts 15 seconds after the doors are closed.
4 2 Years parts and labour on the product + 3 years on sealed refrigeration system (compressor, evaporator, dryer and tubing) parts only

Why Buy?
A bottom mount fridge freezer built to sit flush against your cabinetry
LG's Zero Clearance Hinges let the doors on this bottom mount fridge freezer swing open wide even when the cabinet sits hard against a wall or run of joinery, so the 436L capacity does not cost you kitchen layout flexibility. Front-bottom ventilation exhausts air through the base rather than the sides, which is what actually makes the flush fit possible.
Inside, Door Cooling+ pushes cold air toward the door bins, helping dairy, drinks and condiments hold a steadier temperature rather than drifting with every door open. The Smart Inverter Compressor runs with fewer moving parts, keeping noise low and, backed by a 10 year parts warranty, is engineered for the long haul. A 5.5 star energy rating means that steady performance does not come with a steady running cost.
At 697mm wide, 1740mm high and 696mm deep, it drops into a standard kitchen opening without demanding a wider footprint, and the stainless silver finish reads clean against most benchtop and cabinetry tones. Connected via the LG ThinQ app, it will flag a door left ajar, a small detail that matters more once the freezer drawer is loaded and the fresh food compartment is doing double duty at eye level.
Buy this if…
- You want a bottom mount fridge freezer that opens fully even flush against a wall
- You prefer fresh food at eye level with the freezer drawer underneath
- You want app alerts for a door left open before contents spoil
- You value a 10 year compressor parts warranty over a shorter standard term
- You need 436L of capacity without exceeding a 697mm wide footprint
